A well-designed system for modern offices
The modern workplace is evolving rapidly. New Work concepts, open-plan offices and the growing need for flexible retreat spaces are shaping today’s office design. The key question is how functional room-in-room systems can be combined with an atmosphere that inspires and genuinely supports well-being.
This was exactly the starting point for an exciting collaboration with our partner Züco Bürositzmöbel Switzerland. Züco had a clear vision: their innovative Cube 4.0 should not only perform acoustically, but also feature a natural and emotional design element. We were pleased to take up this creative impulse and develop a perfectly integrated greening solution.
The result is the Green-Cube Module, a plant-based element that blends seamlessly into the system and creates a natural visual highlight. In addition, we enhanced the reception area of the showroom in St. Gallen with a reindeer moss panel that welcomes visitors with a fresh green accent from the very first moment.
This project clearly demonstrates how well-executed Swiss Made collaborations can make future workplaces more human, inspiring and sustainable.
Collaborative innovation and a green welcome
Innovative ideas through the right partnership
Innovative ideas often emerge from strong collaboration. Our partner Züco had a clear goal: to design a room system that is acoustically efficient while featuring a natural design language. We were delighted to contribute the green building block for this product innovation.
A perfect symbiosis of innovation and nature
The result combines the best of both worlds. The Cube 4.0 forms the innovative foundation: modular from individual workspaces to meeting rooms for up to 16 people, barrier-free and equipped with ION Cloud technology to create a healthy indoor climate.
This is where our Green-Cube Module comes into play. It complements the smart, tool-free adjustable design of the Cube with an emotional dimension. While the Cube provides structure and calm, our module delivers the visual wow effect and softens the technical appearance.
The Green-Cube Module: handcrafted in Switzerland
Each module is custom-made in our Swiss workshop and precisely tailored to the system. For the showroom, a combination of plant leaves and hydrangea blossoms was selected.
The design remains fully adaptable. Our Green-Cube Modules are also available with jungle moss, reindeer moss or bun moss. No matter the look, the principle stays the same: 100 percent natural with zero maintenance.
Moss design at the reception desk
In addition to the room system, we created another highlight in the showroom. A custom-fitted reindeer moss panel was installed at the reception desk. Its soft texture contrasts beautifully with the smooth office furniture surfaces and offers a warm welcome to visitors.
Natural acoustics and atmosphere
Both elements combine aesthetics and function. Acting as natural sound absorbers, the plants and flowers reduce noise and noticeably improve acoustics in the surrounding open-plan office.
