16 m² Bun Moss Wall for the FUMOacademy
In the new Otto Frey Beteiligungen AG building in Lupfig, Fuchs-Movesa AG, as the main tenant, operates the FUMOacademy, a modern training centre for the Swiss bicycle industry. To provide the more than 400 participants attending specialist courses and further training each year with an inspiring environment, the company wanted a large-scale moss wall for the training room. At almost eight metres wide and more than two metres high, the impressive bun moss wall now makes a striking statement throughout the entire space.
The craftsmanship is what makes this installation truly unique: the word «Academy» was precisely integrated into the moss surface, letter by letter in the desired typeface, using bun moss in a lighter shade. The combination of fresh meadow green and dark forest green creates a rich contrast with impressive three-dimensional depth.
More than 16 square metres of bun moss noticeably transform the atmosphere of the room. Positioned directly behind the modern workbenches, the lush greenery creates a vibrant backdrop that makes learning and professional development more enjoyable while giving the training room a fresh atmosphere. Beyond its impressive appearance, the dense moss structure contributes to pleasant room acoustics during collaborative work and discussions.
