Natural focal point in the reception area
For Zimmermann Engineering AG in Cham, we enhanced the reception area with a bespoke moss artwork. The client approached us with a clear request: a wall piece made of reindeer moss with the company logo integrated directly into the design.
We realised this idea with a custom-made artwork in forest green reindeer moss. The deep, natural colour creates the perfect backdrop for the branding. The white acrylic logo stands out clearly against the dark green surface, ensuring strong visibility and a refined appearance. This combination of natural greenery and precise branding creates a striking focal point that enriches the space with a piece of natural design and offers visitors a welcoming first impression.

Coordination and preparation
After gathering the client’s requirements, we first created a digital visualisation of the moss artwork. This allowed the client to gain a clear impression of the final result. Once approved by Zimmermann Engineering AG, production started directly in our workshop.
Material composition and design details
The base of the artwork consists of a 10 mm thick MDF panel in anthracite. Conserved reindeer moss in forest green was applied to this surface. The moss was intentionally not placed all the way to the edge. A visible margin of around 2 cm remains, creating an elegant dark frame that cleanly defines the composition.
The company logo, made from high-quality acrylic, was then precisely integrated into the moss surface. The contrast between the bright logo and the deep green moss ensures excellent readability and highlights the brand in a refined way.
Sustainable added value for the company
The finished moss artwork now serves as the central eye-catcher in the reception area. It combines corporate identity with biophilic design and gives the space a high-quality, welcoming character.
Beyond its visual impact, the installation also offers functional benefits. The conserved natural material is completely maintenance-free and requires neither watering nor lighting. In addition, the textured surface of the moss contributes to a subtle improvement in room acoustics, creating a more pleasant atmosphere in busy entrance areas.
