Floral Statement Wall in Michelin-Starred Restaurant
At the Michelin-starred restaurant Villa Sommerlust, we had the opportunity to create a green installation that is more than just decoration – it’s an experience. In the middle of the dining room, a plant wall over six metres wide brings together elegance, exotic character and artisanal craftsmanship. Vibrant hydrangeas and carefully arranged foliage flow across the entire surface like a natural composition.
What makes this installation special is not a single highlight, but the interplay of material, shape and presence. Every element was tailored to fit the architecture and mood of the room. The Veuve Clicquot logo was integrated discreetly, blending harmoniously into the overall design.
The result is a floral statement that immediately captivates guests, elevates the restaurant’s exclusive atmosphere and turns every visit into a memorable experience.

Planning & Realisation
From our very first visit to Villa Sommerlust, it was clear that this project would be something special. The elegant atmosphere and high aesthetic standards were the perfect foundation for a plant wall designed to be more than decoration. Together with the client and our carpentry partner on site, we planned every detail – from the custom-built structure to the choice of foliage and hydrangeas, ensuring perfect integration into the room.
Because the wall was to be installed in front of an existing bar, we developed a freestanding custom solution tailored exactly to the room’s dimensions and architectural conditions.
Execution in Detail
The result: a 672 × 147 cm wall made of lush foliage and impressive hydrangeas in two colour tones – vibrant, elegant and with exceptional visual depth. As a subtle highlight, the Veuve Clicquot logo was integrated in matte white acrylic, adding a refined accent that matches the upscale character of the restaurant.
Effect in the Space
In the room itself, the plant wall acts like a green stage. It draws attention, sparks conversations and feels completely at home in the Villa Sommerlust’s ambiance. Its warm and organic presence contrasts with the clear architectural lines and adds emotional depth to the space. A true highlight that shows how greenery can become an experience and extend the culinary excellence of the restaurant into its spatial design.
