Alpine fountain at Zurich Main Station: Ricola x waterdrop launch event
Two strong brands, one shared vision: when Swiss herb expertise from Ricola meets the modern drinking culture of waterdrop, something unique is created. For the exclusive launch event of the new "waterdrop x Ricola Drink Cubes" on May 27, 2026, at Zurich Main Station, a spectacular brand experience was created. The goal was to stage the topic of drinking water not just functionally, but to make it tangible as a conscious enjoyment. Commissioned by the renowned Zurich flower designers from Monster & Drama, we were pleased to be part of an impressive large-scale floral installation and contribute the matching, natural moss base.
The spectacular alpine fountain installation in the center of the Zurich station hall transformed the environment into a vibrant experience world for one day. The combination of floral staging and our natural, deep green moss structures caught thousands of eyes. The finished project was not only a brilliant eyecatcher but also the central photo motif of the entire event, perfectly conveying the fusion of nature, herb power, and freshness.

From showroom sampling into the spotlight of the Main Station
The collaboration began with a creative inquiry from the Zurich studio Monster & Drama. For the implementation of the elaborate alpine fountain concept, the designers were looking for a reliable partner who could bring the organic shapes of the installation to life with high-quality, authentic moss structures. After an initial exchange, we sent photos of our various moss options, after which the two designers visited us in our showroom in Herisau. On site, the quality and feel of our products convinced them instantly. Together, a mix of forest green forest moss and meadow green reindeer moss was selected, perfectly reflecting the typical Swiss mountain world.
Flexible natural cork and felt as backing material for design shapes
The technical highlight of this project was the flexibility required for the construction of the alpine fountain installation. In order to perfectly wrap the curved, organic shapes of the fountain design by Monster & Drama, a combination of flexible felt and cork was used as the backing material. The elements were fitted with a combination of forest green forest moss and meadow green reindeer moss. The smooth logistics and coordination ensured that the material was ready for use right on time for the event and could be seamlessly integrated by Monster & Drama into the overall floral composition.
Maximum wow effect and reach for the product launch
On the day of the event at Zurich Main Station, the full impact of the concept became clear: the interplay of flowers, flowing water, and our moss surfaces was an absolute artwork. The installation offered visitors not only a visual refreshment in the middle of the station bustle but also emotionally conveyed the core message of the new product line, the combination of herbs, fruits, and vitamins in a compact cube. For the Ricola and waterdrop brands, the green staging proved to be an ideal audience magnet, generating enormous attention on-site and countless photos on social media. We are thrilled that our moss was allowed to contribute to this successful launch experience.
