A wardrobe cube made of moss
In the new "Bux Box" of Raiffeisenbank Werdenberg in Buchs, a modern space for creative workshops and client events, the first impression had to be special. A unique design element was needed for the entrance area, one that innovatively combines functionality and nature.
In collaboration with the executing carpentry firm, we had the opportunity to contribute to the design of this special place by covering the walls of the unique wardrobe cube with apple-green ball moss. This creative and natural object is a real eye-catcher that immediately captivates visitors upon entry. The "moss cube" not only adds a fresh, green accent but also significantly contributes to the inviting and inspiring atmosphere desired for a creative space.
Function meets nature
A collaborative project
This project was created in collaboration with an interior design carpentry firm commissioned by Raiffeisenbank Werdenberg. The request to us as specialists was specific: to design wardrobe cubes with a real moss surface. To help our partner convince the end client, we sent them moss samples. After telephone consultations regarding the moss type and dimensions, we were able to execute the order.
Ball moss with a 3D look
For the design of the wardrobe cubes, only ball moss in a fresh apple green was used. This type of moss creates a particularly lively and high-quality surface due to its cushion-like, three-dimensional form. We carefully applied the moss to 8mm thick MDF wood panels, which were then processed and assembled by the carpentry firm into the final wardrobe elements.
An inspiring first impression
Upon entering the "Bux Box," the unique wardrobe cube immediately catches the eye. It is a real eye-catcher that instantly draws attention and adds a fresh, green accent. The natural and creative design is a perfect fit for a space used for workshops and client events. The moss cube significantly contributes to an inviting and inspiring atmosphere and is also completely maintenance-free and durable.
