Natural wall design with moss and olive wood
The client already knew Greenfinity and visited our booth at the Blickfang fair specifically to meet us in person and explore our solutions. For the empty wall in his open living and dining area, he wanted a striking design element – something natural that blends with the space while adding a stylish accent.
During our conversation on site, the idea emerged to create three moss pictures connected by a continuous flow of olive wood – an idea the client immediately loved. Various moss types in different shades of green complement the warm, vivid texture of the olive wood and form a connection that beautifully unites design and nature.
The result is a true centerpiece: The composition of moss, wood and black frames integrates seamlessly into the space and brings character, calm and a welcoming atmosphere to the room.
Implementation & Effect
From idea to implementation
The client was already familiar with Greenfinity before the fair. The Blickfang event gave him the perfect opportunity to meet us in person, receive a consultation and experience our products live. From the first conversation to the final result, the process was smooth and personal. After our exchange at the fair, the client sent us photos and dimensions of the wall. Based on that, we created a visualisation and developed a balanced composition of three moss pictures with black frames, all connected by a flowing line of olive wood.
We used a mix of preserved mosses – including reindeer moss, bun moss and forest moss – in carefully matched green tones. The olive wood was crafted to flow across all three frames, creating a unifying and organic structure. The black frame adds a strong contrast and lends the pieces a stylish, graphic appearance.
The result
The final installation not only fits seamlessly with the existing interior but also gives the dining room a calm, modern and premium feel. The moss art is completely maintenance-free, improves acoustics and turns the space into a place where you truly enjoy spending time.
