A moss world map in the living room
For a private client in Switzerland, a blank white wall in his living room was to be redesigned. His wish was a world map as a moss picture, for which he had a precise idea of the color scheme: the continents were to be in a light green tone and the oceans in a dark green tone.
We had the pleasure of bringing this wonderful idea to life. The result is a 200x140 cm custom-made world map, crafted entirely from reindeer moss in two different shades of green. Set in an elegant walnut frame, the picture is a unique eye-catcher. It combines design and nature in a special way, bringing a sense of wanderlust and a relaxing, natural atmosphere to the heart of the home.
The world in shades of green
A clear wish, a direct implementation
The client's request was as clear as it was creative: he wanted a world map as a moss picture for his living room. After a telephone conversation in which the details were discussed, our florists were able to begin the handcrafted implementation of this special order directly in our production facility.
Handcrafted geography from moss
The 200x140 cm moss world map was intricately handcrafted entirely from reindeer moss. According to the client's wish, the continents are in a fresh apple green, while the oceans are depicted in a rich, dark forest green. This color contrast provides a clear yet very natural depiction of the world. The moss world map is encased in a high-quality, oiled frame made of solid walnut wood, which gives the picture an additional warm and noble touch.
An eye-catcher with a dual effect
The finished moss world map has sustainably transformed the living room. It is an impressive and very personal eye-catcher that immediately draws attention. The unique wall design has a dual effect: it awakens a sense of wanderlust and recalls past or future travels, while the natural material and green colors simultaneously create a calming and relaxing atmosphere. As a maintenance-free and long-lasting unique piece, it combines the passion for travel with a love for nature.
