A moss picture with atmospheric light
For a private client's stylish living and dining room, a blank white wall was to be turned into a unique highlight. The wish was not just for a piece of nature for the room, but a living work of art that could adapt to the atmosphere: a moss picture with an elegant wooden frame and integrated, dimmable LED backlighting.
We fulfilled this wish with a custom-made reindeer moss picture that meets all these requirements and also offers many advantages. As a maintenance-free and long-lasting natural product, it requires no attention at all. Framed in a high-quality oak frame, the picture brings a soothing atmosphere to the room and even improves the acoustics thanks to the sound-absorbing effect of the moss. The real highlight is the dimmable lighting: it artfully stages the moss depending on the mood, bathes the room in a soft, warm light, and turns the picture into a modern and cozy eye-catcher that delights as both a work of art and an atmospheric light source.

From the idea to the perfect match
The process began with a phone call in which the client shared his wishes for a moss picture with LED backlighting and a wooden frame. To find the perfect solution for his home, a personal on-site consultation followed. With samples of our various moss types and frame woods, we were able to select the ideal materials together. During this conversation, the final decision was made for the elegant oak frame, which perfectly matches the interior.
Craftsmanship and technology in detail
The centerpiece is the custom-made 80x140 cm moss picture, designed with reindeer moss in a fresh meadow green. The high-quality oak frame invisibly integrates the LED backlighting. As requested by the client, we used LEDs with a warm white hue, matching the house's lighting concept. The highlight is the wireless dimmer switch, which allows the light intensity to be continuously adjusted at any time, from a subtle shimmer to a bright, indirect light.
