Space zoning with preserved plants
When a client approaches us again for an additional location, it is one of the greatest compliments we can receive. NEXUS Switzerland AG once again relied on our proven solutions for its offices in Wallisellen. Since our planted space dividers had already proven their value at another site, this functional design was to be implemented here as well.
We delivered 14 custom-made space dividers planted with a total of 42 preserved plants, specifically tailored to the requirements of an open-plan office. The project combines efficiency with aesthetics: the elements create clear structures and provide privacy without compromising the openness of the workspace. A solution that perfectly balances functionality, natural design and workplace well-being.
Planning, implementation and result
Individual on-site consultation
For the implementation in Wallisellen, we began with an on-site visit to assess the premises and discuss the greening requirements directly within the space. After the quotation phase, detailed planning and final coordination were carried out efficiently via phone calls and email.
Wood craftsmanship with added value
To structure the office, 14 custom-made wooden space dividers were produced. With dimensions of approximately 1100 × 320 × 1000 mm (L × D × H), they provide optimal visual privacy while seated, without overwhelming the room. Each element includes an integrated open compartment, offering practical storage directly at the workstation.
Long-lasting nature and on-site service
For the planting, we chose preserved greenery. The space dividers were fitted with a total of 42 small Parvifolia plants (70 cm), creating a lively and natural appearance. Three freestanding Populus plants (130 cm) further enhance the space and add visual depth. We handled the complete logistics, furniture delivery and the full planting service directly on site.
The result: calm and well-being through greenery
The installation has noticeably transformed the open-plan office. Thoughtful placement of the elements created clearly defined zones that offer employees greater privacy. At the same time, the rich greenery brings nature directly into the workplace, improves the visual atmosphere and contributes measurably to stress reduction and overall well-being in the office.
