Hexagon Wall Panels in Meeting Room
In the meeting room of neobix AG in Dübendorf, we implemented a natural wall feature that integrates well into the existing room concept. The focus wasn’t on creating a completely new spatial effect, but rather on a targeted visual enhancement – simple, functional and stylistically appropriate.
We delivered two sets of our hexagon wall panels, ten pieces each, mounted to the left and right of the TV. The panels combine oak wood with different moss types such as jungle moss, reindeer moss, forest moss and cushion moss. The mix of natural materials and geometric form adds structure to the room without overwhelming it.
In combination with the existing concrete wall, the result is a calm and modern overall look. The greenery not only enhances the space visually, but also supports the room’s acoustics – a practical benefit, especially for meetings and discussions.
Design & Impact
Planning & Installation
During our initial exchange, a different moss solution was discussed and quoted. After a short consultation, the decision was made to go with our Hexagon wall panels – especially due to their modular design and the combination of wood and moss.
We produced and delivered two ready-to-install sets of ten panels each. Installation was carried out by the client, with one set mounted on each side of the TV on a concrete wall in the meeting room. The panels feature oak frames and a mix of reindeer moss, jungle moss, forest moss and cushion moss.
Effect in the Space
The panels add a natural structure to the wall and blend well with the room’s design. Together with the exposed concrete, they create a calm and balanced atmosphere. The different moss types add subtle accents and help improve the room’s acoustics – which makes a real difference during meetings.
