Custom Moss Logo in Break Room
For Marchese Spedition + Transporte GmbH in Basel, we had the opportunity to realise a successful follow-up project. After an initial moss picture, the client commissioned us to design their company logo "MSped" – this time as a moss logo made of reindeer moss in the break room. The empty wall right next to the floor-to-ceiling window in one of the top floors of the Messe Tower provided the perfect backdrop for a natural statement with a panoramic view over Basel.
The result: a custom-crafted moss logo in meadow green, embedded into a finely milled oakwood panel. It not only represents the brand identity, but also reflects a workplace that values atmosphere and quality. The combination of moss, wood and view creates an inspiring space that encourages great conversations and elevates the everyday. A solution that shows how branding can be both natural and refined.

Planning & Realisation
After successfully completing an initial project for this client, we were asked to create a custom moss logo for a second room – highlighting the company’s brand identity in a natural way. The client provided a photo of the space along with exact measurements and the idea to place the MSped logo on the free wall in the break room.
Following an evaluation of the conditions and an initial design proposal, we created a visualisation on which the final offer was based. We recommended reindeer moss as the ideal material for this application. The logo was embedded in an oak panel with a milled pocket, creating a refined frame that adds both stability and elegance. Delivery included a mounting template, dowels and sleeves – the client installed it themselves.
Impact in the Room
This moss logo is more than just branding. Positioned next to the floor-to-ceiling window with a stunning view over Basel, it immediately draws attention. It adds calm and freshness to the space while showcasing how identity, design and nature can blend in a meaningful way. A true eye-catcher with purpose.
