160 cm moss letter
For our client Kellenberger Switzerland AG, we delivered a truly distinctive project. The starting point was the need for a sustainable and long lasting decorative solution for the international EMO2025 trade fair in Hannover. Previously, fresh flowers or plants were often used, but they naturally lost their freshness after only a few days. This time, the goal was different: to create a strong green statement that impresses during the exhibition and continues to deliver value afterwards.
We designed an impressive 160 cm tall moss letter in the shape of the iconic Kellenberger “K”. This nearly two square metre installation made from real preserved reindeer moss immediately attracted attention at the fair. The key advantage of this installation is its exceptional longevity. After the successful exhibition, the piece was moved to its permanent location in the reception area of the headquarters in Goldach. There, it continues to create a strong visual impact every day and demonstrates how flexible and sustainable modern corporate greenery can be.
A custom-made brand statement from nature
Sustainable branding instead of short-term solutions
The idea behind this project originated from a clear need for more sustainability in the event sector. Instead of short-lived cut flowers, the client wanted a branding element that represents their values over the long term. In our workshop, we handcrafted the large “K”. With a surface area of around 1.8 square metres, the company logo became an organic piece of art.
Precise colour composition with reindeer moss
To create depth and vibrancy, we used reindeer moss in three carefully selected shades of green. The combination of apple green, meadow green and forest green results in a dense and dynamic surface. As the moss is naturally preserved, it requires no water or light and remains completely maintenance-free. It retains its colour intensity and soft texture for many years.
Extending the concept for the exhibition
To complete the concept, we also produced several smaller moss “K” elements. These were used as decorative highlights on meeting tables at the exhibition.
A true eye-catcher at the trade fair
At the Hannover trade fair, the green installation quickly became a strong attraction. In an otherwise technical environment, the moss created a memorable and inviting focal point. The positive feedback from the client reflected this immediately:

Long-term value beyond the exhibition
The real strength of this concept becomes clear in its second life. After the exhibition, the large “K” was transported to Goldach and installed in the reception area. The smaller elements were also reused in meeting rooms. This smart reuse highlights the long-term value of our maintenance-free greenery solutions.
