Interior Landscaping for Cantonal Hospital St. Gallen
The Cantonal Hospital St. Gallen was looking for a way to bring a touch of nature into various rooms and departments. They discovered our preserved plant solutions, which are visually impressive but require absolutely no maintenance in the daily hospital routine. We were subsequently commissioned to supply the appropriate greenery for various areas, ranging from the ambulatory department to the restaurant.
We used individually arranged bonsai landscapes, single preserved plants, and our hexagon wall panels. These green accents now provide a fresh, natural eye-catcher at each location, without the need for watering or special lighting.
Targeted Greenery for Every Environment
We selected specific greenery elements for the hospital's various buildings and departments that blend harmoniously into their respective surroundings. Whether filigree at the reception or somewhat larger in the dining area, the focus was always on the longevity and natural aesthetics of the products.
Arranged Bonsai Landscapes
For the Nephrological Ambulatorium, we designed a small bonsai landscape in a stylish vessel. The arrangement consists of a Juniperus Bonsai 15 cm and a larger Juniperus Bonsai 50 cm. We artfully decorated these preserved plants with real stones as well as bun moss and forest moss to create a calming scenery.
For another building, we delivered a special teak wood decorative column topped with a shell bowl, in which we also arranged an individual landscape featuring lava stones and bun moss.
Plants and Wall Design
In the restaurant area, we placed two Nicoli slender 130 cm in high-quality pots to set vertical green accents. In another building, we combined a Populus slender 130 cm with a wall design. Here, various sizes of our hexagon wall panels were used. These consist of oak wood and were hand-filled by our florists with jungle moss, reindeer moss, and forest bun moss.
Added Value: Well-being Without Effort
This greenery offers decisive added value for hospital operations. It brings the calming effect of nature directly to patients and staff, which is proven to increase well-being and reduce stress. Since all plants and mosses used are preserved, they remain permanently fresh and require neither water nor light. It is an ideal, hygienic, and absolutely maintenance-free solution.
