A maintenance-free bonsai landscape

An often-unused space under a staircase can become a real design highlight. IN PROJECT GmbH from Winterthur noticed our artistic Juniperus trees on our website and requested an artistic design for just such an area in their building's entrance. The idea was to transform the existing stone landscape under the stairs into a natural eye-catcher with a selection of bonsai and some moss.

As experts in individual interior greening, we developed a concept for a multi-level bonsai landscape. Our florist created a composition of four different-sized Juniperus trees and bonsai on-site, embedded them in the existing stones, and decorated them with soft forest moss. Thus, an empty area was transformed into a beautiful, maintenance-free scenery that gives the entrance area a modern, stylish, and at the same time fresh, natural look – a durable solution for a prestigious reception.

Concept and implementation in detail

From inspiration to concept

IN PROJECT GmbH noticed our Juniperus trees on our website and contacted us with a concrete idea. For an existing stone landscape under a staircase in his entrance area, he wanted a design proposal to liven up the area with Juniperus trees and moss. We took these wishes on board and developed a detailed concept with a visual draft and an offer. The final design of the landscape was then carried out on-site by our florist.

A composition of four bonsai

The design is a carefully arranged group of four preserved Juniperus bonsai trees of different sizes. A large, 160 cm high tree forms the visual anchor, supplemented by a 100 cm high specimen and two smaller bonsai of 50 cm and 25 cm height. This staggering creates a dynamic and at the same time harmonious landscape. Our florist artfully embedded the trees in the existing stones and generously decorated the ground with forest-green flat moss to create an authentic, natural image.

A modern and stylish design

The finished bonsai landscape has completely transformed the entrance area of IN PROJECT GmbH. It creates a beautiful scenery and is an immediate eye-catcher when entering the building. In combination with the existing wood and concrete elements, the green island gives the room a modern and very stylish design. The maintenance-free bonsai trees, which require neither water nor light, provide an inviting, fresh, and natural look that delights visitors and employees anew every day.
