Hexagon Moss Panels for the Spa Area at Hotel Terrace
In the wellness area of Hotel Terrace in Engelberg, formerly bare walls have been transformed into living, natural accents. The goal was to bring a sense of nature into the space – with a visually striking, low-maintenance and lasting solution.
We used a custom combination of our modular hexagon panels made of oak wood and real preserved moss. Each set included a blend of forest moss, jungle moss, reindeer moss and cushion moss, creating a calm and textural atmosphere. The result: a spa setting that feels warm, grounded and inviting – a place where design and nature meet.
From Concept to Realisation
Natural Design with Structure
The starting point was clear: the empty walls of the spa area needed warmth and life. After a phone consultation, we developed a tailored concept based on our hexagon panels – arranged in different combinations and freely customisable to fit the space.
Handcrafted Moss Design
We used a selection of preserved moss types: jungle moss, reindeer moss, forest moss and cushion moss. The moss designs were handcrafted by our florists, with great attention to detail. The oak panel frames complement the greenery with a natural, refined look.
Flexible Installation, Lasting Impact
Thanks to the modular hanging system, the panels can be arranged freely in different formats. Whether mounted individually or grouped together, they blend seamlessly into a variety of design concepts. The installation can be done with either removable adhesive or a classic hanging system.

Today, guests at Hotel Terrace enjoy a spa space where nature and design come together. The combination of wood, moss and geometric shapes creates a calming atmosphere that enhances relaxation and visual appeal.
