Creative wall design
A white, empty wall in a newly created meeting zone is like a blank canvas. For Griesser AG in Aadorf, this surface was meant to become the centerpiece of the room – a place that feels modern, welcoming, and natural. The goal was a large-scale, custom wall design that would give the break area a unique atmosphere.
Our solution was a dynamic composition of more than 50 hexagon wall panels. The distinctive feature of this project lies in the diverse mix of surfaces: three different types of moss combined with pure oak panels. This combination creates a vibrant and modern aesthetic. The result is an impressive wall design that not only enhances the space visually but also improves the acoustics thanks to the sound-absorbing qualities of moss.
From a white wall to a natural artwork
On-site consultation and visualization
It all started with a visit to Griesser AG, where we left several samples of our hexagon wall panels for on-site evaluation. Based on a photo of the empty wall, we then created a highly realistic visualization. This clearly showed how more than 50 panels would transform the space, giving the client a precise idea of the final result and making the decision much easier.
A composition of moss and oak
The final wall design is a varied mosaic of natural surfaces, consisting of 54 panels in total:
- 17 panels made of solid oak form a warm, natural base.
- 13 panels with fresh apple-green reindeer moss add vibrant highlights.
- 13 panels with lush jungle moss bring an exotic, multi-layered touch.
- 11 panels with the 3D structure of forest and bun moss create extra depth and texture.
A space that invites people to linger
The completed wall, which we installed exactly as visualized, is now the centerpiece of the meeting zone. It creates a harmonious and welcoming atmosphere that enhances the space visually. At the same time, the sound-absorbing qualities of the moss panels improve the acoustics, which is especially valuable in a lively area. This handcrafted design is 100% natural and requires no maintenance.
