A round moss picture for the open-plan office
DCP Client Partner AG in Zurich had a blank white wall in their open-plan office for which they were seeking a special design. The client's request was very specific: she wanted a large, round moss picture for her office.
Our solution is an impressive, round moss picture with a diameter of 140 cm. Its special feature is the flowing gradient from cushion-like ball moss to a structured forest and ball moss mixture, as well as an optical frame effect that lends the artwork a sense of lightness. The result is a central eye-catcher that brings a natural, calm atmosphere into the room, optimizes the acoustics, and thus supports the well-being of the employees.
Natural form, tangible effect
From inspiration to visualization
The process began with a specific request from the client, who wanted a round moss picture for her office and sent us an example picture for inspiration. After a phone call to discuss her exact ideas, we created a visualization of our proposal so that the client could better imagine the moss picture with its unique gradient. After the client's approval, our florists handcrafted the unique piece in our production facility.
A work of art with a flowing gradient
The finished, round moss picture has a diameter of 140 cm. The design is characterized by a gentle, flowing gradient that starts with pure ball moss on the right and transitions into a lively mixture of forest and ball moss on the left. This composition creates an exciting, natural surface with great depth. A refined detail is the optical frame effect: the moss was not applied all the way to the edge of the wooden panel, which gives the artwork additional lightness and a high-quality appearance.
A benefit for the work environment
Today, the large, round moss picture is the focal point in the open-plan office. Its round shape provides a calming contrast to the otherwise linear office environment and creates a noticeably calmer, more natural atmosphere. The pleasant mood is further supported by the sound-absorbing effect of the moss, thus contributing to an inspiring work environment that promotes the concentration and well-being of the employees.
