Holistic interior greening for modern workplaces
For a corporate client in Switzerland, we delivered an exceptionally extensive interior greening project. The client moved into new premises spanning several floors and wanted to design the spaces from the outset with a well thought out planting concept that would delight employees and visitors alike while creating a strong sense of wellbeing.
We developed a holistic concept that combines the strengths of preserved and living greenery. More than 20 space dividers planted with living philodendrons, along with over 40 planters featuring monstera on USM furniture, structure the open office areas, actively improve the indoor climate and create a noticeably more pleasant working atmosphere. These are complemented by six mobile dividers with preserved foliage, offering flexible placement while remaining completely maintenance free. Custom made hexagonal wall panels with moss as well as an individual moss artwork featuring the client logo add strong design accents and improve acoustics throughout the space. Generous preserved plant arrangements with juniper and tobira bonsai create exclusive visual highlights that elegantly structure the rooms, remain permanently fresh and require absolutely no maintenance. The true centrepiece of the project is the preserved oak tree rising over five metres high in the atrium, a striking feature that powerfully demonstrates the transformative impact of nature indoors.
Across all floors, this resulted in a working environment where aesthetics and functionality come together seamlessly, spaces that inspire, support concentration and clearly show that everything was considered carefully from the very beginning.
From planning to execution
Thoughtful planning for maximum spatial impact
A project of this scale requires precise coordination and presented several exciting challenges. The task was to green a variety of zones, including workstations, meeting rooms, lounge areas and the atrium, coherently across multiple floors. The aim was not only to create visual highlights but also to significantly enhance the quality of stay and naturally structure open office spaces through greenery.
Wall design and natural brand presence
Custom made hexagonal wall panels featuring reindeer moss, jungle moss and forest bun moss create striking geometric patterns while simultaneously improving acoustics in highly frequented areas. A standout element is the bespoke moss artwork made from two tone bun moss, incorporating the client logo and framed in oak, seamlessly combining brand identity with biophilic design.
Smart space division with living greenery
More than 40 Monstera deliciosa planters placed on USM furniture, along with numerous space dividers planted with Philodendron scandens, including three Prestige steel models, gently structure the office areas and actively improve the indoor climate. All living plants were equipped with water level indicators and a decorative top layer, making everyday maintenance significantly easier.
Maintenance free arrangements and a majestic oak tree
Preserved plant arrangements with juniper and tobira bonsai, embedded in reindeer moss or bark, create long lasting accents with zero maintenance. These include two installations exceeding seven metres in length as well as custom solutions for the seating areas on the second floor. Six mobile dividers with preserved foliage add further flexibility while remaining completely maintenance free. The centrepiece of the entire project is the 5.50 metre tall preserved oak tree in the atrium, lending the architecture an impressive presence without the need for water or light.
Professional installation from a single source
To bring a project of this dimension fully to life, our team worked on site for several days. From the millimetre precise installation of wall elements and the professional planting of every single plant to the installation of all greening elements across multiple floors, delivering the entire project from a single source ensured that every detail was perfectly executed and harmoniously integrated into the new working environment.
