The new jungle look of the Mantra Bar
In gastronomy, atmosphere is often just as important as the menu itself. For the Mantra Bar & Lounge in Zug, Business Gastro AG was looking for a fresh impulse to better reflect current trends. The goal was clear: the space should feel more modern and radiate a new sense of attraction, ideal for relaxed evening drinks as well as lively weekends.
Our response to this brief was a refined fusion of nature and architecture. We developed a concept that brings genuine jungle vibes indoors without overwhelming the space. The solution is a bespoke combination of high-quality rustic oak acoustic panels and lush jungle moss elements. This installation not only serves as a striking visual focal point but also supports the transformation of the bar into a contemporary hotspot in Zug. The result is a distinctive look that perfectly showcases the desired jungle atmosphere and turns the Mantra Bar into a true eye-catcher.

The vision: creating a new atmosphere
The project began with an enquiry from Business Gastro AG. The client had a clear objective: to add a new visual dimension to the Mantra Bar. The focus was on integrating authentic jungle vibes into the interior, creating an atmosphere that invites guests to enjoy a relaxed drink while also setting the scene for energetic weekend nights. The aim was to establish a strong design statement with a distinctly modern character.
Concept and implementation in detail
To bring this vision to life, we developed a bespoke solution that combines jungle aesthetics with contemporary design. Five individual panels were crafted and installed as striking wall features.
The greenery: At the heart of the concept is our jungle mix. Preserved forest moss and bun moss were combined with exotic foliage to create a dense, three-dimensional vegetation.
The acoustic panels: To visually frame the wild greenery, the moss was paired with rustic oak acoustic panels. The wood harmonises perfectly with the interior and adds an elegant finish to the wall design.
Added value in design and functionality
The wall installation was carried out by our carpentry partner and the result is impressive in every respect. The design brings exactly the desired energy into the space and acts as a new visual focal point. Client feedback has been extremely positive: the refreshed look is very well received by guests and noticeably attracts more visitors, supporting the bar’s positioning as a popular hotspot in Zug.
An additional benefit lies in functionality: the combination of moss and acoustic slats significantly improves room acoustics, all with absolutely no maintenance required from the team.
