An Entrance Area that Impresses
During the office renovation for AGIBA IT SERVICES AG in Winterthur, the responsible architect contacted us about a special design element. His request was specific: for the entrance area on the second floor, he was looking for a large, representative moss wall.
A detailed concept was developed in close coordination with the architect. Together, we defined the details, from the size of the installation to the preparations for assembly. The final solution, a custom-made and impressive moss wall, was the result of this partnership. The goal was to create an immediate "wow" effect that welcomes visitors and employees in a unique and natural way.
Implementation & Impact
From Plan to Reality
This project was created in collaboration with the architect responsible for the office renovation of AGIBA IT SERVICES AG. His request specifically concerned a moss wall. On this basis, we created an initial offer with a visualization to make the vision for the entrance area tangible. A decisive step was the personal meeting on-site, where we reviewed samples, coordinated the final size of the moss wall, and discussed all preparations for the installation. The wall was produced by our florists, while the installation was carried out by our experienced carpenter partner.
Design & Result
The centerpiece of the new entrance area is the 350x245 cm moss wall. We exclusively used ball moss in a vibrant apple green, which creates a fascinating optical 3D effect with its rounded shape. An anthracite-colored wooden panel serves as the carrier plate. The moss was intentionally not applied right to the edge, which creates a natural frame effect. The white company logo of "agiba IT SERVICES" was integrated into the center of the wall, making it the elegant focal point of the design.
An Eye-Catcher with a Tangible Impact
The moss wall's effect is immediate. As soon as you walk up the stairs to the second floor, the large, green wall catches your eye and welcomes employees, clients, and visitors. It is not only a visual highlight but also improves the feel of the room. According to an AGIBA employee, the positive difference in room acoustics is already clearly noticeable. The wall thus transforms the entrance area into a representative space that skillfully combines aesthetics with a more pleasant atmosphere.
